Brentford is a unique place that people either love, hate or laugh at. It's a quiet enclave of West London that functions like a little market town to a fair extent; it's a place where people live for life rather than just pass through.

What this site is:

An irreverent collection of bits and pieces that hopefully conveys something of the spirit of the place. Slowly being added to, but all contributions/suggestions are welcome, either additional information for current pages or content for new ones. I'm keen to have a page about each point of interest in Brentford, with interesting stories, history etc.

This site is also copyright - all pictures and text are by myself, unless otherwise credited. By all means use it as a source of information, but any re use of site material is prohibited without permission. Don't be scared to ask if you have a good excuse, though.

What this site is not:

This is NOT a complete guide, nor a commercial guide to all pubs and other businesses in Brentford, so don't email asking to be included - there's other sites that can do that.

This site does not represent the views of anyone by the author(s). It is not affiliated to any organisation, and does not seek to be. Organisations are welcome to offer content, but editorial control is down to me.

The logo I've used on the first page and elsewhere on the site is 'borrowed' from a Brentford Initiative Community Newsletter, Nov 1994. I've had verbal permission from some who were involved to use it; but, if you designed it, or know who did, please get in touch.
