Open summer weekends only, with some evening recitals on the instruments (all mechanical, i.e. music boxes, player pianos and a full Wurlitzer) contained herein. When originally built as a church, the two sides facing the river are stone-clad, the two sides facing away are in plain brick.
Update - the current building is now closed. The Musical Museum will move into a purpose-built building, on the site of the current sales centre for the Capital West development. They also hope to be linked to the Steam Museum by the steam engine trips that currently run around the steam museum building. The church building is likely to be demolished; the main structure is in a poor state, due to poor construction, years of corrosion due to the surrounding gasworks, and more recently lack of maintenance.
