Syon Park & House

Syon Park represents a sizeable chunk of open space close to the centre of Brentford, and for pedestrians and cyclists forms a rural short cut through to Old Isleworth and on to Twickenham.

The house itself is the seat of the Duke of Northumberland, and the outer grounds include a garden centre, National Trust shop & cafe, a butterfly house and the 'Snakes and Ladders' childrens play scheme. Entrance to the gardens (including the impressive Great Conservatory), and house is charged for separately.

The house and gardens are also visible from the river path on the south side of the Thames, at a particularly pleasant section of greenery on both sides of the river.
